Eat, drink & be merry at the 28th annual Winter Jubilee on December 2nd in Downtown Abbotsford

The 28th annual Winter Jubilee returns to historic Downtown Abbotsford on December 2nd from 5PM to 9PM to kick off the holiday season with an official Christmas tree lighting ceremony complete with live entertainment, a craft beer and wine garden, children’s activities, pictures with Santa, handmade and artisan marketplaces, Christmas carollers, food trucks, pony rides, fireworks and of course, the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Attendees will be able to browse the local shops, eateries and outdoor marketplaces, while revelling in the many sights, sounds and flavours of the season at this free holiday event. Santa’s arrival will occur at 6PM, shortly followed by the official tree lighting with Mayor Henry Braun and the Clauses. Then stick around until 8:30PM, when a festive fireworks display will light up the night sky!


Hosted by the Downtown Abbotsford Business Association in collaboration with Tourism Abbotsford, the City of Abbotsford and community partners RBC, Algra Brothers, Spruce Collective and Aldergrove Credit Union, this outdoor Christmas festival will take place on Essendene and Montrose Avenues, which will be closed off to all vehicle traffic for the evening. Free parking lots are located within walking distance are located at Montrose & Pine Street, Jubilee Park, The Legion and MCC Plaza.
