Jam in Jubilee returns tonight with Kuri, The Burn-Ins, Casinos, and Little Wild
Today marks the final Jam in Jubilee of the summer! The Jam in Jubilee team has wowed Abbotsford festival-goers with acts such as Said the Whale, Iskwe, Coalmont, and Jordan Klassen throughout the month of July. Tonight, they’re wrapping up the yearly event with Kuri, The Burn-Ins, Casinos, and Little Wild.
Casinos is a pop-rock band based in the Fraser Valley, and they have been playing shows since 2012. Their tastes include the artists that characterized ’90s and early 2000s pop rock, brit-rock, and garage rock. They most notably opened for the UK-based glam-rock revivalists The Struts.
Performing for several years with his group, Oh Village, listeners have come to appreciate Kuri’s honest songwriting and intriguing musicianship. Now he experiments further with bold arrangements of classical instrumentation paired with modern alternative structures.
Little Wild is a Garage/Psych musical project made up of Jake Holmes, Mitch Trainor, Zack & Layton Keely. Based out of Abbotsford, the group brings you a bold, woozy, spacey & fuzz-ridden experience that will leave you sweaty, drooling & hungry for more.
The Burn Ins are an award-winning female-fronted Indie Blues Rock Band from Elkford BC/Camrose AB. Their music will take you on a delightfully dark journey into a foot-stomping good time.
