Winter Jubilee

Our free, and family-friendly, Winter Jubilee celebration returns on Saturday, November 22nd from 3 pm to 8 pm in Historic Downtown Abbotsford! It is our 36th annual holiday festival and home to Abbotsford’s only tree lighting event! The celebration kicks off our JINGLE ALL THE WAY holiday season! Get ready to start your holiday shopping at the vendor market, grab warm food and drinks, and enjoy the live performances on stage! Cookie decorating, face painting, and pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Claus are just a few of the free activities!

Event Highlights

• The centerpiece moment as the 60 ft tree lights up.

• Live stage entertainment with emcee and comedian, Cliff Prang, along with entertainment by Jam Dance, MEI Choir, The Goddess Movement, Silver Diamond Country Dancers, Joel Noftle Group, and Ryan McAllister.

• Santa’s March led by the MEI Screaming Eagles Marching Band.

• Cozy family-friendly stations for cookie decorating, face painting, letters to Santa and reindeer games.

• Crafts at Santa’s Workshop

• Become a certified elf at the Elf Academy! (tickets required)

• Special appearances by the Grinch and Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with photos by donation with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

• A holiday marketplace with artisan vendors and unique holiday gifts.

• Festive bites at the food truck line-up with Truckin’ BBQ, Big Red’s Poutine, Tacosaurus, Beavertails, Little oOties Mini Donuts, and Corndog King.

• Classic holiday drinks, such as hot chocolate and Jingle Juice in light-up cups.

• Visit our businesses to taste and shop your way around! More special events to explore!

Elf Academy

Enroll in the Elf Academy to dive into top-secret elf training with festive crafts, games and activities, and a few surprises tucked under the tree!

From hat decorating to reindeer snack prep, each activity brings participants closer to earning their official elf name and certificate.

This course is 45 minutes and parents are welcome to join as we turn your littles into some holiday helpers.

Recommended ages 2-10 years old.
