We asked our local Downtown Abbotsford businesses to share how they are responding to COVID-19 and what their current hours/closures look like. If you have any questions for specific businesses, please visit their websites linked.

Strung Out On Beads

“We will be in the store Monday to Friday 8am-12pm to process web orders and receive phone, Facetime and Facebook orders. The store is still closed to the public however, curb side pick up is available during these hours. Thank you for your patience while we try and navigate this new way of doing business.”

Bureaux Modern Mercantile

“Our storefront is now officially closed to the public and, despite understanding that shutting the doors was for the greater good, it was an emotional and heavy day for us as a team. ⁣We know this is temporary, but still feel the weight of the decision, as many other small businesses across Canada and the globe do too.
We’re going to take the day to digest our feelings a bit, but we’ll be around on Friday for those of you interested in placing orders or picking anything up curb-side. ⁣
Please email us at hello@shopbureaux.com or send us a message to make arrangements ~ we’re here and happy to accommodate the various ways we can keep you stocked in what you need while we’re apart 👍🏼⁣”

Duft & Co

“On March 18 due to the growing COVID-19 pandemic we made the difficult decision to close the Bakehouse indefinitely. In order to continue being able to provide the community with our baked goods, we’ve set up online ordering for contactless pick up at the Bakehouse. Select items on specific days will be available for preordering each week. Add the items of your choice to the cart and complete the payment details.”

Bow & Stern

“It’s time to pack in our signs, shut off the lights and lock up the doors. To our amazing, supportive community, we’ve made the hard decision to close our doors for the time being. In light of the current, rapidly changing situation, we feel this is the best next step for our community, employees, and business. –

This is not a goodbye, just see you later! We can’t wait to re-open our doors and welcome everyone back, you are truly family to us. A big thank you to everyone from our team to our customers for being so supportive. Also big love to our neighbours who have also been closing their doors during this time. Well see you on the other side! 💪🏼”

JAM Dance

“This has been such a tricky time for all students, parents and staff affected. I’m sending my love to everyone as we all try to navigate through this together. We are taking a two week break from the studio to honour social distancing and to do our part with COVID outbreak. This means all spring break camps and rehearsals are now cancelled.
We hope to reopen on March 30th but we are taking this day by day as there is so much uncertainty around this situation.
Currently JAM is working on an online class that students can access and partake in from home! We will keep you updated! Dancers, don’t forget to practice your routines and stretch everyday!!🤍 Be safe everyone! Sending you all love, health and happy thoughts!
Love, Jam Dance”
