What are Downtown Dollars?
Downtown Dollars act like gift certificates but work like cash in Historic Downtown Abbotsford. Downtown Dollars are available for purchase at our office or online and are used to purchase goods and services in the Downtown. Downtown Dollars make the perfect gift because they can be used at many downtown businesses!
Have dollars to spend? Here’s how it works:
- Go to one of the many participating stores, restaurants, and service providers in our Downtown.
- Before you pay for your purchase, say you’d like to use your Downtown Dollars.
- If your total is more than the Downtown Dollars you have on hand, you pay the difference.
- If the total is less than Downtown Dollars, change will be provided. Customers are encouraged to spend the full amount of Downtown Dollars if possible.
