The Joy Museum Launch Event

The SensTory Joy Museum is being featured at Open Space throughout January to celebrate community diversity. Supported by the 20 Harvest Challenge, United Way, and the University of the Fraser Valley, the Joy Museum invites the community to engage with the exhibit through onsite creation and collaboration. The community is invited to contribute poems, picture books, artifacts, and personal creations to the museum and watch it evolve throughout the month.

The JOY Museum will be open to the public Tuesdays to Fridays from 10am-2pm from January 8th – 31st. With workshops and special events occurring on January 13th and 20th.

The Launch Event on January 13th will feature Storytimes at 11am and 3pm, as well as a Velvet Mushroom Making Workshop from 1-2:30pm.
